How to submit a copyright infringement notice

If you believe that material on our Site infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to act for, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent (details below) that includes:

1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if there are several);
3. identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it, such as the exact page URL;
4. your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address;
5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
6. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

When we receive a valid notice, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the material and, where possible, notify the person who provided it.

Counter-notification

If you believe material you provided was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent that includes:

1. your physical or electronic signature;
2. identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
4. your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complaining party notifies us that it has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, please consider seeking legal advice first.

Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the ability of users who are repeat infringers to submit content to the Site.
